Duties and Responsibilities:

Only applicants with no other on-campus job will be considered.

The responsibilities of the Project Assistant include the promotion of the use of Chinese-language books from the Chinese Corner through:
1. Providing "show and tell" demos in Chinese language classes
2. Producing several 3-minute promotional video clips
3. Offering Chinese language tutoring.

This position requires working 10 hours per week. The Project Assistant reports to Xue-Ming Bao, Electronic Resources Librarian.

Required Qualifications:

Enrollment in Asian Studies program and pursuit of certification in teaching Chinese language and culture.
Familiarity with processes of video production and editing.
Extremely good organizational skills, including working to meet deadlines.
High-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
