Assistant Director Gift Planning in South Orange
The primary objective of this position is for the incumbent to work closely with the Senior Director of Gift Planning to educate friends and alumni throughout all areas of the University about the impact of donating noncash assets. The incumbent will help develop marketing materials and strategies that educate, engage, and steward prospective donors and those who already have made these legacy commitments. The incumbent will have extensive interaction with professional advisors, attorneys, and executors to track and receive estate distributions following the death of a donor. They will need to properly capture information on pending and actual distributions for the Finance Office and ensure the Planned Giving Department complies with state financial reporting requirements.
