  • Director of Undergraduate and Dual-Degree Advisement in Interprofessional Health Sciences

    Under the supervision of the Dean and in collaboration with the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate and Clinical Education, the Director of Undergraduate and Dual-Degree Advisement will perform a variety of advising, administrative, and engagement functions to assist in the operation of the School of Health and Medical Sciences. This individual will advise and oversee student performance who are enrolled in the physical therapy and physician assistant dual degree programs that are offered in collaboration with the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as internal transfer students (from within Seton Hall) and external transfer students who are entering the Bachelor of Science in Interprofessional Health Sciences degree program. They will provide information and assistance concerning academic requirements, curricula, registration and course scheduling, and conveyance of related policies and procedures. The Director will liaise with other University offices and their respective contacts (e.g., Center for Academic Success, Transfer Office, Pre-professional Advising Center, Office of the Registrar, etc.), Graduate and Undergraduate Program Directors and other members of the Office of the Dean within the School of Health and Medical Sciences. The Director will maintain appropriate records of advisement events which may include the use of local documents that are specific to degree programs, and University-wide web-based platforms that track academic progress and degree audits. They will also participate in recruitment and engagement events and interact with prospective and admitted students about degree programs and their expectations.

    Ensures the smooth functioning of the Office of the Vice President through high level, confidential assistance with all administrative functions within the Vice President’s office and across the Division of University Advancement.
