Blue Crew members are professional staff members of the Office of Admissions. Blue Crew members work alongside the Admissions Counselors and staff to ensure that visiting potential students and families have an enjoyable experience at Seton Hall University. The Blue Crew will register families and give guided tours of campus (along with any tour related activities). Blue Crew members are also very knowledgeable of the application process, history of the University, and have a certain pride and enthusiasm in the institution they attend. Blue Crew play a vital role in the recruitment of students to the University and provides assistance with various admissions tasks. A successful Blue Crew member develops excellent communication, resource, and networking skills, which can later be applied in post-college careers. In addition, Blue Crew members will conduct themselves in a professional manner and model positive behavior consistent with the Catholic Mission of the University, community life standards, and academic requirements.
Assistant Stockroom Clerk (Summer 2018) South Orange
Perform stockroom and mail duties. Verify stockroom is properly stocked and supplied. List items for reorder, if necessary. Compile purchases made, billed to the stockroom and prepare monthly IDT form and charge back the respective departments. Log incoming packages and notify recipients that there is a parcel waiting. The CH23 Office assistant assists with directing members of the community to appropriate locations and fulfills office tasks for Managers in Suite 23. These office assistants occasionally assist with staffing events that require laptop support and maintaining the functionality of printers on campus.
Student Technician - PCSS - 2018 - 2019 South Orange
Student Laptop Technicians provide technical support in the Consultation Area in Corrigan Hall. Student Technicians are responsible for providing laptop software and hardware technical support and troubleshooting for members of the Seton Hall community. Student technicians will document all work done on any laptop in various databases as warranted. In addition, Student Technicians are expected to provide excellent customer service at all times.
