Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific activities include: 1. Assisting nursing students practicing skills of health assessment and nursing intervention; 2. Assisting Coordinator of the Skills Lab and faculty in preparing and managing supplies and equipment for classes; 3. Assisting the Coordinator of the Clinical Skills Lab in inventory of equipment and supplies; 4. Checking out and checking in equipment borrowed by students and faculty; 5. Keeping lab rooms neat and clean and encouraging students to clean up after themselves; 6. Ensuring lab security upon leaving the lab by using keys and access code provided by the campus security department; 7. Facilitating compliance of lab rules and policies with students and faculty using the lab; 8. Facilitating simulation activities under the direction of the Director of Clinical Simulation to include: staging and setting up scenarios prior to the scheduled activity, assisting faculty members during the simulations, including managing simulation related software, and concluding simulations with sequential termination of technology; 9. Other lab related duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must possess an understanding of and willingness to support the Seton Hall University Catholic mission. They also must have a BSN and be currently enrolled as an MSN Student at Seton Hall University. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, as well as effective organization skills, and be computer literate.

Licenses and Certifications:

NJ State RN License for applicants with a BSN
