Duties and Responsibilities:

Using the internet as a primary tool to research federal, state, local and private research and service funding opportunities

Disseminating grant opportunity information for appropriate faculty and staff

Updating departmental web site information

Assisting with gathering data for research projects, some data analysis and report writing

Assisting with the compilation of grants proposals

Dealing effectively and cordially with university and outside constituents

Communicating effectively both orally and in writing with departmental colleagues as well as members of the university and outside constituents

Other duties related to the Office of Grants and Research Services

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must possess an understanding of and willingness to support the Seton Hall University Catholic mission.

Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Must be accepted into a Seton Hall University graduate program

Maintain an enrollment status as a full-time student registered for a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester.

Must maintain a GPA of 3.0

Proficiency in MS Office, the Internet and other University-supported software programs

Reliable and able to take initiative to work without direct supervision
