SECURITY 1. Assist in upholding the overall security system of the hall. 2. Swipe ID cards of all entering the hall and or confirm residency. Ensure guests are properly signed in and out. 3. Be aware of the CA on-call system and important resource phone numbers. 4. Assist with fire alarm evacuation.

ADMINISTRATIVE 1. Properly operate the desk phone and card access reader. 2. Record necessary phone messages for the RHD/students/guests when necessary. 3. Maintain computer desk logs in an accurate, orderly manner 4. Attend all meetings. 5. Communication with conference staff leaders. 6. Maintain a visible conference itinerary for all conference groups to access at the front desk. 7. Maintain computer repair work orders. 8. Serves as resource person for conference participants about the University and the local area.

GENERAL 1. Be timely, polite and courteous. 2. Follow proper procedure to cover a shift if you are unable to work. 3. Work at least two weekends per month for the duration of the summer. 4. Allow only staff members behind the desk while working. 5. Conduct self in a professional manner while at the desk, including attire appropriate to customer service role. 6. Communicate problems, issues, and concerns to the Supervisor. Hours will vary depending on the conference schedule, but the DA is expected to work at least 10 hours per week.

Upon hire, candidates must be registered as a full time student for the Fall 2018 semester.

It is strongly encouraged that applicants submit their FAFSA as soon as possible.

Must attend mandatory training in May 2018.
