Teach classes in qualitative and quantitative research methods at the graduate and undergraduate levels as well as other classes related to international relations theory, the Middle East, or the European Union; produce scholarship; service at the departmental and university levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach classes in qualitative and quantitative research methods at the graduate and undergraduate levels as well as other classes related to international relations theory, the Middle East, or the European Union.
  • We are particularly interested in candidates whose scholarly work bridges the academic-policy divide. Provide service at the departmental and university levels.

Required Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be able to teach classes in qualitative and quantitative research methods at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
  • Applicants should have a Ph.D. in hand by the time of their appointment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • We are particularly interested in candidates whose work bridges the academic-policy divide.
  • Expertise in the Middle East, the European Union, or international relations theory is a plus.
  • We expect the applicant to build upon the School’s existing strengths. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in hand by the time of their appointment.
  • Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability or potential to teach effectively in a professional school at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • All applicants should have strong research backgrounds or demonstrate substantial potential for conducting important academic research in their field of specialization.
