The KNOW MORE Programming Assistant will manage a variety of tasks related to the administration of the KNOW MORE Education and Prevention Programming area within the Department of Student Life. The Programming  Assistant will work with Student Life staff to plan small and large scale educational programs each semester around the topics of alcohol, other drug, and sexual violence prevention and education. The Programming Assistant will assist in the creation and management of a student group dedicated to the issues of alcohol, other drug, and sexual violence prevention, and will also participate and show support for other Student Life programs, including Orientation weekend.

The KNOW MORE Programming Assistant will serve as a good role model to peers, practice confidentiality and discretion as defined by the Department of Student Life, and will attend formal training sessions as scheduled and necessary. Some evening and weekend availability will be required, as will maintaining a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Programming Assistant will work up to 10 hours per week. Knowledge of and a passion for alcohol, other drug, and sexual violence prevention education is preferred, but not required.
