Job responsibilities include: running research studies, creating step by step written documents of procedures for data collection and analysis, performing data analysis, scoring standardized assessments, scheduling participants, and maintaining an inventory of lab materials. The candidate must be able to professionally interact with student and older adult participants over the phone and/or email, schedule participants to arrive in the lab, and relay this information to the appropriate investigators (including updating the lab calendar). Sometimes the candidate may escort participants to and from their vehicle. Other responsibilities include talking on the phone/in person with older adults (some with Parkinson’s disease or Alzheimer’s disease) regarding our study (which will be explained) and scheduling their test dates, as well as assisting in data collection and analysis of voice and electroencephalographic (EEG) studies.

Applicants must be undergraduate students at Seton Hall University. Must be able to use Microsoft Word/Excel. Extroverted individuals who enjoy communicating on the phone/in person with older adults (some with Parkinson’s disease or Alzheimer’s disease) and have good organizational skills preferred.
