Due to program success and expansion, the School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS) at Seton Hall University invites qualified individuals to apply for a full-time, twelve-month faculty position in the Department of Occupational Therapy beginning July 1, 2017. We are a student-centered, dynamic department with a commitment to preparing occupational therapists as servant leaders and interprofessional team members seeking to meet the needs and opportunities of a global society.

The School of Health and Medical Sciences at Seton Hall University has a significant national presence in health science education. In response to a changing healthcare environment, the School has assumed a leadership role in offering high quality, innovative programs at the master's and doctoral levels.  The School of Health and Medical Sciences offers opportunities for collaborative research, teaching, and grantsmanship across a number of disciplines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include teaching, advising and mentoring students, conducting their own research, mentoring student research, and participation in department, school and university committees as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualifications include: licensure or eligibility for New Jersey licensure and a minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience as a licensed occupational therapist.
  • Graduate teaching experience and a record of research is preferred.
  • An earned doctoral degree is preferred; those without a terminal degree will be expected to pursue a clinical or research doctorate.
