As a Graduate Assistant for the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science, Center of Developmental Mathematics the duties and responsibilities include the following:

Teaching one to two sections of Developmental Mathematics (Math0012).  Math 0012 is a three-credit hour class.
Hold offices hours for the classes that the GA is teaching.
Assist the Director of Developmental Mathematics with performance tracking and research on the program.
Serve as lead Learning Assistant in the Mathematics Learning Lab. Supervise the Undergraduate Learning Assistants.  Help maintain the Mathematics Learning Lab.
Tutor students in either Developmental Mathematics or Mathematics.
Assist with the Math Department Math Competition in November.
Assist with proctoring for the Departmental Final Exams at the end of each semester.
Other duties or projects as assigned by the Director of Developmental Mathematics.

Applicants need to be accepted to a full-time graduate program at Seton Hall University. 
Tutoring or teaching experience in Mathematics is also required.
Have taken at least one semester of Calculus.
Must be knowledgeable in using Word, Excel, Power Point, and mathematics software such as Mathematica.

Graduate students for programs in the College of Arts & Science are preferred, but not necessary.
Graduate students with backgrounds in Mathematics or Mathematics Education are also preferred.
