The College of Nursing is seeking a highly-qualified candidate with clinical expertise in pediatric nursing, who will guide innovative instruction, contribute to program development and advance his or her scholarly agenda. For this tenure-track position, we are seeking an energetic, skilled practitioner, who is interested in teaching in a dynamic university close to NYC. Selected candidate will start in Spring 2017.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute lectures to stimulate the intellectual development of students, prepare syllabus, examinations, and other instructional materials; maintain Blackboard sites; adhere to reasonable deadlines and schedules established for the timely reporting of grades, student registration, and record keeping; arrange and conduct off campus clinical experiences for students; schedule and keep weekly office hours; devote time and energy to developing and improving scholarly excellence; plan and conduct research; serve on college and university committees; attend commencement exercises; other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD or EdD in Nursing, as well as MSN or DNP

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification in pediatric nursing is preferred.

Licenses and Certificates:

  • NJ State RN license

Physical Demands:

  • General office environment
